Who doesn’t love to try their luck with a day at the casino every so often? In early November, Haley headed out on a Turning Stone Resort Casino day trip, here’s her rundown.
When we arrived at the resort, it was decorated to autumn perfection! Hay bales, mums, pumpkins and leaves were perfectly placed throughout the entire resort to make you feel cozy and at home. The entire property has stunning art and architecture, so it’s worth a trip to wander around the resort and see all the incredible art.
One specific piece of art really caught our attention. Renowned artist Dale Chihuly created an immaculate “Tree of Life” sculpture which is on display in the rotunda of the resort. The intricately sculpted piece is one you have to see to truly appreciate.

Yes, the casino at Turning Stone is the star of the show, but there is plenty else to do while you’re there! The resort is home to a Forbes Travel Guide 4 Star Spa, along with great shopping and dining options throughout.
The property has something for everyone. Whether you enjoy Italian, Barbecue, Sushi or a pub-like feel, you can find it here. Along with fine dining options, some of Turning Stone’s most popular restaurants include Emerald, Pino Bianco, Peach Blossom and TS Steakhouse. The resort also has a fast-casual food hall as well. For your sweet tooth, Opal’s has mouth-watering dessert options.

Turning Stone also features an event and performing space called The Gig, which hosts rock shows and features local and regional bands. Right next door to The Gig is the Tin Rooster which serves signature BBQ flavors and gets country music fans dancing by playing the best tunes.

I would be remiss if I didn’t touch on the incredible casino at Turning Stone. There truly is a game for everyone here. With over 2,000 slot machines, 66 Vegas-style table games, the largest poker room in New York state and one of the top three bingo halls in the world, it’s hard to not find something you’d enjoy!
